Common problems
Quick answers to the questions candidates ask most.
I did not receive a verification code
- The code is sent to your email, not as an SMS. Check you typed the email correctly.
- Look in Spam or Junk.
- Wait a minute, then press Resend code. A new code makes the old one stop working, so use the newest email.
- If the email address was wrong, choose Wrong details? Go back and correct it.
- Codes can only be requested a limited number of times in a short period. If you are told to wait, wait and try again later.
My code expired or says it is incorrect
A code works once and expires after a few minutes. Press Resend code for a new one, or start again from Sign in. Too many wrong attempts end that verification, so type carefully and use the newest code.
I already have an account
Just sign in with the same CNIC, mobile number and email you used before. You do not need to create anything new. PMS sends a code to your email and your saved details return.
I changed my phone number or email
Sign-in needs the same details you first verified, so a different mobile number or email shows “We can’t sign you in with these details”. Nothing is changed. Write to PMS support so they can help you confirm who you are.
Support email: jobs@pakmultiservices.com. Inside your profile you can also add an extra contact mobile number; this does not change your sign-in mobile.
I cannot go past the job requirements
You do not meet one of the mandatory requirements for this vacancy, so you cannot continue with this application. The screen shows which one. If you answered by mistake, choose Change my answers. Otherwise, your profile stays saved and you can look at other jobs.
Why do I have to complete my profile?
PMS needs the same basic details for every application. You enter them once, and they are reused for every job, so your next application is quicker.
Can I save and continue later?
Yes. Your answers save as you go. Press Save & finish later, then use Continue application in My applications. Remember that the job may close before you send it.
Can I apply for more than one job?
Yes, from the same account. Each job has its own application, and your profile and documents are reused. You cannot have two applications for the same job.
Can I edit an application after sending it?
No. A sent application is kept exactly as submitted, and changing your profile later does not change it. If something in it is wrong, contact PMS; do not send a second application. PMS may ask you for an extra or replacement document, which you can provide without changing the application.
How do I replace my CV?
Go to My details, open CV & recent photograph and choose Replace CV. Applications already sent keep the CV they were sent with. A new CV needs its own photograph confirmation.
Why am I asked for a recent photograph?
Where a job requires a CV, PMS also needs to see a recent photograph of you so it can match a person with their application. Confirm that your CV shows it, or upload a separate photograph (JPEG or PNG).
Why is a document marked rejected or invalid?
It means PMS could not use that file, for example because it was unclear, cut off or not the document asked for. It does not by itself reject your application. Upload a clearer or correct file where PMS has asked you to.
PMS asked for another document. Where do I upload it?
Open the application in My applications. The Action required box at the top lets you pick a saved file or upload a new one, and send it to PMS.
Where can I see my interview details?
Open the application in My applications. When an interview is arranged, a Your interview box shows the date, time, place and instructions.
How do I withdraw an application?
Open the sent application and choose Withdraw this application, then confirm. PMS keeps a record, and your profile and other applications are not affected.
Can I undo an accidental withdrawal?
Often yes. Open the withdrawn application and choose Restore application. It is the same application, not a new one. A cancelled interview does not come back automatically.
Why can I not restore my withdrawn application?
You cannot restore it yourself if PMS had already made a decision on it, if the job has closed, if the withdrawal was not made by you, or if the application is continuing under another job. The page says it cannot be restored and asks you to contact PMS if you would like to be considered again.
What does my application status mean?
See the full list under Following your application → What each status means. In short: Submitted means PMS has it; Under Review means PMS is looking at it; Shortlisted and Interview mean you are moving forward; Selected means PMS selected you; Not selected means it was not taken forward.
Does sending an application guarantee a job?
No. Applying does not guarantee an interview, a job offer or a reply by a certain date. PMS contacts you if you are taken forward.
Who is my employer when PMS is recruiting for a client?
It depends on the job. Some jobs are with PMS itself; for others PMS recruits on behalf of another organisation. The job page states who the employer is and how the work is arranged, so read it before you apply. If it is not clear, ask PMS before you send the application.
