What each status means, withdrawing, restoring and recommendations.

#Where to see your applications

Sign in and open My applications. Every application is a card showing the job, its status and the date you sent it. Open a card to see the details, any interview, and anything PMS needs from you.

#What each status means

Draft / In progress
You started but have not sent it yet. Open it and choose Continue application.
Application Submitted
PMS has received your application. Nothing more is needed unless PMS asks.
Under Review
PMS is looking at your application. This can take some time.
Shortlisted
You are being considered for the next step. PMS will contact you with updates.
Interview stage / Interview scheduled
An interview is planned or has been arranged. The date and details appear on your application.
Selected
PMS has selected you. PMS will contact you with the next steps.
Not selected
This application was not taken forward. You can still apply for other jobs.
Application closed / Offer declined
This application has reached its end and nothing more is expected from you.
Withdrawn
You withdrew this application. PMS is not considering it, but keeps a record.

A status is a progress report, not a promise. PMS does not give response times, and an application can move forward or stop at any point.

#“Action required” labels

A yellow Action required label means PMS is waiting for something from you. It is not a rejection.

Action required — documents
PMS needs a new or clearer file. Upload it from the application page.
Action required — document requested
PMS asked for an extra document. Upload it from the application page.
Action required — CV photograph
PMS could not confirm a recent photograph. Update your CV or add a photograph.

#Withdrawing an application

Open the sent application and choose Withdraw this application, then confirm. What happens:

  • PMS stops considering that application.
  • An interview planned for it is cancelled.
  • PMS keeps a record of what you sent. Nothing is deleted.
  • Your profile and saved documents stay, and your other applications are not affected.
  • You cannot send a second application for the same job, but you may be able to restore this one (below).

If you have been selected, you cannot withdraw from the portal; contact PMS instead.

#Bringing a withdrawn application back

If you withdrew by accident or changed your mind, open the withdrawn application and choose Restore application, then confirm. It is the same application: nothing you submitted changes and PMS considers it again from the point it had reached before. You do not apply again.

You cannot restore it yourself when:

  • PMS had already made a decision on it, such as not selecting you, or selecting you.
  • The job has closed.
  • The withdrawal was not made by you.
  • The application is now continuing under another job after you accepted a recommendation.

In those cases the page explains that it cannot be restored here and asks you to contact PMS if you would like to be considered again.

If an interview was cancelled when you withdrew, restoring does not bring it back. PMS will contact you if it needs to arrange one again.

#When PMS recommends another job

After reviewing your application, PMS may recommend you for a different job. You will see a Recommended by PMS card at the top of My applications, and you may also get an email.

  • Open the card to read about the job and any message from PMS.
  • Check the requirements first. If you meet them you can Accept recommendation & continue; if you do not, nothing happens to your earlier application.
  • Accepting does not send the new application. You still complete it, add any documents and send it yourself.
  • Once you accept, your earlier application shows Continuing under another vacancy: PMS carries on with the new one.
  • If you are not interested, choose Not interested. Your other applications are not affected.
